As Gulf Coast Water Authority Assistant General Manager, David Davis is responsible for managing the organization’s overall customer contracting and accounting functions.  

David’s main area of focus for GCWA customers is rate stabilization and developing continuity of contracting principles for customer groups to ensure that each customer is treated fairly and with the same advantages as other customers in their group.

David’s main area of focus internally is developing and maintaining systems that provide real-time, accurate financial data and improve efficiencies.

David is a certified public accountant with more than 30 years of career advancement in finance and operations, primarily with large-scale, deep-water offshore drilling projects. Working in the energy industry allowed David to travel most of the world and to meet and work with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston.
